TESLA: THE COMPANY

Tesla produces several Electric Vehicles (EVs) including the Model 3, Model X, Model Y, Model S, and most recently, the Cybertruck. Tesla also delivers the Semi-Truck.
Tesla is still the largest seller of pure battery-powered Electric Vehicles (EVs) in the world and an absolute leader in the US (taking up between 60% and 70% market share).

TESLA: EVENTS AND ANALYSIS

PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION 2024: DONALD TRUMP (R) WINS OVER KAMALA HARRIS (D). The Tesla stock is expected to rise in volatility as CEO Elon Musk has recently started openly supporting Donald Trump. Analysts agree that in case Donald Trump wins over Kamala Harris, then companies owned by Elon Musk, including Tesla, could see some benefits. In addition, on one occasion, Donald Trump himself said that he will give Elon Musk a role in his new administration.
Q3 EARNINGS REPORT: TESLA ROSE MORE THAN 20% AFTER THE Q3 EARNINGS REPORT. According to CNBC, Tesla reported revenue of $25.18 billion, 8% higher compared to a year before. Tesla reported earnings per share of 72 cents adjusted, topping the average analyst estimate of 58 cents. Net income rose to about $2.17 billion from $1.85 billion a year ago, which is an increase of 17.29%.
“WE, ROBOT” EVENT (OCTOBER 10). CYBERCAB: Elon Musk reached the stage in a "Cybercab," which he said will go into production in 2026 and be priced less than $30,000. He also said he expects Full Self-Driving (FDS) technology to be available on Tesla's popular Model 3 and Model Y vehicles in Texas and California next year. ROBOVAN: Musk also showcased a larger, self-driving vehicle called the Robovan - capable of carrying up to 20 people. OPTIMUS HUMANOID ROBOT: The company also trotted out several of its black and white Optimus humanoid robots, which walked a few feet from the attendees before showing off dance moves in a futuristic-looking gazebo. Musk estimated that the robots would cost between $28,000 and $30,000 and would be able to babysit, mow lawns, and fetch groceries, among other tasks. (Source: Reuters)

TESLA: OTHER ANALYSIS

FULL-SELF DRIVING SYSTEM (FSD) IN CHINA (APRIL 29): According to Bloomberg, Tesla received in-principle approval from government officials to deploy its driver assistance in China for the first time ever. Tesla has also reached an agreement with Baidu to use the Chinese giant's mapping license for data collection on China's public roads. After the news, the Tesla stock added around 15% to its value.
OPTIMUS (HUMANOID ROBOT): CEO Elon Musk said that Tesla could be able to sell Optimus by the end of 2024.
TESLA WILL LAUNCH A NEW MODEL IN 2025: The model is expected to be the cheapest Tesla has ever offered ,and it could cost around $25,000.
TESLA LATEST PRODUCT: CYBERTRUCK. Tesla is expected to deliver 100,000 to 120,000 in 2024 and at least 240,000 in 2025.

TESLA: PRICE ACTION

THE STOCK HAS TRADED AROUND 20.4% BELOW ITS ALL-TIME HIGH OF $414.4 (November 4, 2021). Tesla was last trading around $330, and if a full recovery follows recent all-time highs, the stock could see an upside of around 25.6%. However, the price could decline further.
ANALYSTS OPINIONS: Morgan Stanley forecasts $310. Wedbush forecasts $300. Piper Sandler forecasts $315. Deutsche Bank forecasts $295.
