The Australian Dollar fell against the US Dollar during European trading below 0.6260 levels.
The Australian Dollar has been falling since this morning’s session on increased fears that the US administration will implement tariffs on China, which will have a negative spillover effect on Australia, since China is one of Australia’s largest trading partners. In Australia, NAB Business Confidence for December (-3 last month) will be released today (00:30 GMT). In the US, Core Durable Goods Orders for December (0.1% expected) will be posted (13:30 GMT) and CB Consumer Confidence for January (105.9 exp) will be posted (15:00 GMT).
