The Australian Dollar rose against the US Dollar during European trading above 0.6360 levels.
The AUD/USD rose in the European session as new labor market data from Australia came out showing better than expected results, diminishing the need for rate cuts by the Reserve Bank of Australia. In Australia Unemployment rate figures for March came in with data being higher than expected (4.1% realised vs 4.2% expected). In the US, Philadelphia Fed Manufacturing Index data for April (2.8% exp) will be released and Initial Jobless Claims (225 k exp) at 13:30 GMT+1.
