In European trading, the euro rose against the US Dollar, trading above the 1.0500 mark.
Since earlier this morning the pair has traded upward from a starting level of around 1.0470. In Europe, German Consumer Climate data for December was released showing worse than expected results (-23.3 vs -18.8 expected). In the United States, Q3 GDP figures (2.8% expected), Durable Goods orders for October (-0.8% exp) and Initial Jobless Claims data (220k exp) will be released (13:30 GMT). US PCE Price Index for October (2.7% last month) will be posted (15:00 GMT).
