In European trading, the euro fell against the US Dollar, trading below the 1.0200 mark.
Following higher than expected US NFP data the dollar has been rising in strength pressuring the euro, with the pair hitting its weakest level since November 2022. Consequently the markets are now pricing in fewer rate cuts by the FED for 2025. In Europe there are no major data releases today. In the US, Consumer Inflation Expectations for December (3% last month) will be released (16:00 GMT).
