In European trading, the euro fell against the US Dollar, trading below the 1.0430 mark.
The currency pair is under increasing pressure as US President Trump reinstates the possibility of tariffs towards the EU and as the markets expect a rate cut by the ECB on Thursday. In Europe ECB President Lagarde will speak (17:00 GMT). In the US, Core Durable Goods Orders for December (0.1% expected) will be released (13:30 GMT) and CB Consumer Confidence for January (105.9 exp) will be posted (15:00 GMT).
