In European trading, the euro fell against the US Dollar, trading below the 1.0480 mark.
The EUR/USD currency pair has weakened since this morning's session as traders are expecting an inflation divergence between the EU and US and projecting a lower inflation for the EU for the foreseeable future. In Europe, EU Consumer Confidence for February was released with data in line with expectations (-13.6). In the US, GDP Q4 data (2.3% exp) and Initial Jobless Claims figures (222k exp) will be released (13:30 GMT).
