In European trading, the euro rose against the US Dollar, trading above the 1.0900 mark.
The EUR/USD currency climbed higher in the European session, following counter tariffs that the EU implemented on $28 billion worth of US goods. This happened after US President Donald Trump implemented blanket tariffs on all steel and aluminum imports into the US. In Europe, ECB President Lagarde has spoken. In the US, CPI Inflation data for February (2.9% exp) will be released (12:30 GMT).
