In European trading, the euro rose against the US Dollar, trading above the 1.1400 mark.
The EUR/USD currency has advanced in the European market, recovering from this morning’s losses as the US President reined in his criticisms of FED Chair Jerome Powell, which strengthened the dollar in this morning's session. In Europe, German Manufacturing PMI data for April and German Services PMI were released with mixed data (48.0 realised vs 47.5 expected and 48.8 realised vs 50.3 expected respectively) . In the US, Global Manufacturing PMI (49.0 exp) and Global Services PMI for April (52.8 exp) will be posted (14:45 GMT+1) and New Homes Sales data for March (682k exp) will be released (15:00 GMT+1).
