During European trading, the British Pound increased against the US Dollar trading above 1.2600 levels.

After this morning's trade the pair has recovered ground, rising from a level of 1.2560. In the UK, no data releases are scheduled today. In the United States, Q3 GDP figures (2.8% expected), Durable Goods orders for October (-0.8% exp) and Initial Jobless Claims data (220k exp) will be released (13:30 GMT). US PCE Price Index for October (2.7% last month) will be posted (15:00 GMT).
