During European trading, the British Pound increased against the US Dollar trading above 1.2510 levels.

Since this morning's session, this currency pair was trading downward but it changed direction in the European trading session. Currently, we see an upward momentum following worse than expected US Initial Jobless Claims data. In the UK, no data will be posted today. In the US, Goods Trade Balance figures (-101.30 Bln exp) will be released (13:30 GMT).
