During European trading, the British Pound decreased against the US Dollar, trading below 1.2300 levels.
The currency pair retreated in the last couple of days following Deutsche Bank's recommendation to sell the pound as the worst performing currency of 2024. Deutsche Bank also expressed concerns over the UK's fiscal outlook. In the UK there are no major data releases today. In the US, Nonfarm Payrolls (164K expected) and Unemployment Rate (4.2% exp) will be released (13:30 GMT).
