During European trading, the British Pound decreased against the US Dollar, trading below 1.2300 levels.
The currency pair has been losing ground since this morning’s session following weaker than expected economic data from the UK which could point to more rate cuts by the Bank of England in 2025. In the UK, the Unemployment Rate for November was posted showing worse than expected results (4.4% realised vs 4.3% expected) . In the US, there are no major data releases today.
