During European trading, the British Pound decreased against the US Dollar, trading below 1.2500 levels.
The currency pair has been falling since this morning's session following the BoE interest rate cut and gloomy projections of stagflation in the UK. In the UK the Halifax House Price Index has been published with house prices rising higher than anticipated (0.7% realised vs 0.4% expected). In the US, Nonfarm Payrolls (169K exp) and Unemployment rate data (4.1% exp) will be posted today (13:30 GMT).
