During European trading, the British Pound increased against the US Dollar, trading above 1.3270 levels.
The GBP/USD currency gained ground in the European trading session, despite UK inflation coming in lower than expected. In the UK, CPI Inflation data for March was released with data lower than expected (2.6% realised vs 2.7% expected). In the US, Retail Sales data for March (1.4% exp) will be released (13:30 GMT+1) and Fed Chair Powell will speak (18:15 GMT+1).
