During European trading, the British Pound increased against the US Dollar, trading above 1.3330 levels.
The GBP/USD currency gained ground in the European trading session, recovering from the strengthening of the dollar in this morning's session, caused by lower tensions between the US President and the Chairman of the FED. In the UK, Global Services PMI for April was released with data being lower than expected (48.9 realised vs 51.5 expected). In the US, Global Manufacturing PMI (49.0 exp) and Global Services PMI for April (52.8 exp) will be posted (14:45 GMT+1) and New Homes Sales data for March (682k exp) will be released (15:00 GMT+1).
