Stock futures climbed on Friday as the major averages head for weekly losses and investors anticipated a reading of the PCE Index, the Federal Reserve’s preferred inflation gauge.

The Dow futures contract was up by 0.5%, S&P 500 futures increased by 0.8%, and the Nasdaq 100 futures jumped by 1.1%.
