US stock futures traded lower following a Friday spike on Wall Street that was supported by strong jobs data. Markets are now gearing up for fresh inflation data which could provide more clues on the path ahead for Federal Reserve interest rate policy in the coming months.

The Dow futures contract decreased by 0.45%, S&P 500 futures were down by 0.57%, and the Nasdaq 100 fell by 1.10%.
