In European trading, the US Dollar rose against the Canadian Dollar, trading just above 1.4000 levels.
Earlier in the morining the pair fell to levels nearing 1.4000 before starting to rise again. In Canada there are no scheduled data releases today. In the United States, Q3 GDP figures (2.8% expected), Durable Goods orders for October (-0.8% exp) and Initial Jobless Claims data (220k exp) will be released (13:30 GMT). US PCE Price Index for October (2.7% last month) will be posted (15:00 GMT).
