The US Dollar fell against the Japanese Yen in European trading below 154.00 levels.
The Japanese Yen rose compared to the dollar following Trump’s new import tax policy announcement in which no new taxes against Japan are implemented. In Japan the BoJ Core CPI was published showing worse than expected results (1.5% vs 1.8% expected). In the United States, New Homes Sales for October (724k expected) and CB Consumer Confidence for November (112.0 exp) will be published (15:00 GMT). Later this evening Fed Meeting Minutes will be published (19:00 GMT)
