US Session Analysis for CFD Instruments 23/04/2025

The US Dollar is down against the Japanese Yen in the European trading session, trading below 141.70 levels.

The USD/JPY currency pair is retreating in the European session, following this morning’s gains as the US President reined in his criticisms of FED Chair Jerome Powell, which strengthened the dollar in this morning's session. In Japan au Jibun Bank Services PMI data for April was released with data being higher than the previous month (52.2 this month vs 50.0 previous month). In the US, Global Manufacturing PMI (49.0 exp) and Global Services PMI for April (52.8 exp) will be posted (14:45 GMT+1) and New Homes Sales data for March (682k exp) will be released (15:00 GMT+1).
