The US Dollar increased against the Turkish Lira during the European session, trading above 35.9900 levels.
The USD/TRY held its long term upward course and reached a new all time high as the country is gripped by chronic inflation and monetary instability. In Turkey, Manufacturing PMI data for January was published showing weaker data compared to the month before (48.00 for January vs 49.10 for December). In the US, Manufacturing PMI figures for January (50.1 exp) will be posted (14:45 GMT).
