The US Dollar increased against the Turkish Lira during the European session, trading above 36.430 levels.

The USD/TRY volatile currency pair rose in this morning's session, continuing its climb in the European trading session, as Turkey is still gripped by high inflation and monetary insecurity. In Turkey, there are no data releases today. In the US, GDP Q4 data (2.3% exp) and Initial Jobless Claims figures (222k exp) will be released (13:30 GMT)
