The US Dollar rose against the Turkish Lira during the European session, trading above 36.670 levels.

The USD/TRY volatile currency pair rose in the European session, as inflation and monetary instability continue to be a chronic problem for Turkey. In Turkey, Budget Balance data for February was posted with data lower than the previous month (-310.10 B this month vs -139.26 B previous month). In the US, Retail Sales data for February (0.7 exp) will be released (12:30 GMT).
