In Asian trading, the Euro declined against the US Dollar, trading below the 1.1400 mark.
The EUR/USD was lower following Fed Chair Powell’s speech on Wednesday outlining that trade tensions risk undermining inflation goals and that US growth may be slowing. In Europe, the European Central Bank will meet to set interest rates (cut of 0.25% expected) at 13:15 GMT+1. In the US, Philadelphia Fed Manufacturing Index data for April (2.8% exp) will be released and Initial Jobless Claims (225 k exp) at 13:30 GMT+1.
