In Asian trading, the euro declined against the US Dollar, trading below the 1.0300 mark.
The EUR/USD fell slightly in the Asian session following gains made so far this week on news that President Trump’s economic team favoured a gradual increase in import tariffs, rather than more extreme measures. In Europe Eurozone Industrial Production figures for December (-1.9% expected) will be posted (10:00 GMT). In the US, Year on Year CPI Inflation data for December (2.9% expected) will be released (13:30 GMT).
