In Asian trading, the euro climbed against the US Dollar, trading above the 1.0800 mark.

The EUR/USD pair looks set to break its four-day losing streak, moving higher during the Asian session on Friday after yesterday’s ECB interest rate cut of 25 basis points. In the Eurozone, Construction output data for September will be posted (10:00 GMT+1). In the United States, Building Permits data for September (1.45 mln exp) will be posted (13:30) and Fed Members Bostic and Kashkari will speak (14:30 and 15:00 respectively).
