In Asian trading, the euro was lower against the US Dollar, trading below the 1.0500 mark.
The EUR/USD fell in holiday thinned trading following yesterday’s US Initial Jobless Claims data which came in lower than expected, while traders expect the ECB will cut rates multiple times next year. In Europe, no major data will be released today. In the US, Goods Trade Balance figures (-101.30 Bln exp) will be released (13:30 GMT).
