In Asian trading, the euro edged downwards against the US Dollar, trading below the 1.0310 mark.
The currency pair traded lower for the third day in a row during the Asian session following a number of foreign policy and trade statements from president-elect Trump which triggered safe haven buying of the greenback. In Europe German Industrial Production data for November (0.5% expected) will be posted (07:00 GMT). In the US, Fed Member Bowman will speak (18:35 GMT) and the Fed’s Balance Sheet (6,852 bln exp) will be released (21:30 GMT).
