In Asian trading, the Euro was stable against the US Dollar, trading above the 1.1300 mark.

The EUR/USD paused its two day decline after President Trump stated the US has spoken to 90 countries about a trade deal, suggesting that the US China trade war may not be as difficult to resolve as previously thought. In Europe, German Ifo Business Climate Index data for April (85.1 expected) will be released (09:00 GMT+1). In the US, Durable Goods Orders for March (2.1% exp) and Initial Jobless Claims (222k exp) will be posted (13:30 GMT+1) and ExistingHomes Sales data for March (4.14 mln exp) will be released (15:00 GMT+1).
