During Asian trading, the British pound fell against the US Dollar trading below 1.2450 levels.

The currency pair declined in what might be its fourth successive day of losses, after Fed Chair Powell made cautious statements on inflation and monetary policy, following the Fed decision to keep rates unchanged at 4.5%. In the UK, Year on Year Nationwide HPI for January (4.3% exp) will be posted (07:00 GMT). In the US, Core PCE Price Index figures for December (2.8% exp) will be posted (13:30 GMT).
