During Asian trading, the British pound increased against the US Dollar trading above 1.2900 levels.
The GBP/USD currency gained some positive traction as the greenback kicked off on a weaker note following the Fed’s unchanged expectations last week that it will likely cut interest rates two times this year. In the UK Manufacturing and Services PMI data for March (46.9 and 51.0 last month respectively) will be posted (09:30 GMT). In the US, Manufacturing PMI for March (52.7 last month) and Services PMI for March (51 last month) will be released (13:45 GMT).
