During Asian trading, the British pound traded lower against the US Dollar trading below 1.3000 levels.
The GBP/USD currency eased after recording an almost one week low yesterday as the UK prepares itself to be hit by US tariffs, even though Prime Minister Starmer has been trying to work out an acceptable trade deal with the US to avoid them. In the UK, there are no data releases scheduled today. In the US, ADP for March (118k exp) will be posted (13:15 GMT+1) and President Trump will speak (on reciprocal tariffs etc) at (20:00 GMT+1).
