During Asian trading, the British pound traded higher against the US Dollar trading above 1.3000 levels.

The GBP/USD currency jumped sharply to an almost five month high as some relief set in, that the US set only a 10% tariff upon goods from the UK. In the US, Initial Jobless Claims data (225k exp) will be posted (13:30 GMT+1), S&P Global Service figures PMI for March (54.3 exp) will be posted (14:45 GMT+1) and ISM Non-Manufacturing PMI for March (53.9 last month) will be released (15:00 GMT+1).
