During Asian trading, the British pound increased against the US Dollar trading above 1.3200 levels.
The GBP/USD currency pair climbed for a sixth successive day to a six month high in the Asian session against a softer dollar , undermined by concerns of the economic fallout to the escalating US China trade war. In the UK, Average Earnings Index for February (5.7% exp) will be released (07:00 GMT+1). In the US, New York State Manufacturing Index data for April (-14.80 exp) will be released (13:30 GMT+1).
