During Asian trading, the British pound increased against the US Dollar trading above 1.3200 levels.
The GBP/USD currency pair rose for its seventh consecutive to record another six month peak in the Asian session, ahead of important UK inflation data. In the UK, CPI Inflation data for March (2.7% exp) will be released (07:00 GMT+1). In the US, Retail Sales data for March (1.4% exp) will be released (13:30 GMT+1) and Fed Chair Powell will speak (18:15 GMT+1).
