The GBP/USD currency pair is retreating slightly, potentially snapping its seven day winning streak with sterling under pressure after lower than expected UK CPI data for March, increasing expectations of a rate cut from the BoE in May. In the UK, the Bank of England Credit Conditions Survey will be released (09:30 GMT+1). In the US, Philadelphia Fed Manufacturing Index data for April (2.8% exp) will be released and Initial Jobless Claims (225 k exp) at 13:30 GMT+1.
