In the Asian session, the German Benchmark Index traded below 22,400 levels.

Germany stocks were down after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Technology, Food & Beverages and Utilities sectors were outweighed by losses in the Construction, Industrials and Consumer & Cyclical sectors pushing shares lower.
