In Asian trading, the US Dollar edged lower against the Canadian Dollar, trading below 1.4000 levels.
The currency pair declined slightly after the dollar eased during the Asian session ahead of a packed day of data from the US which may provide clues on inflation and the Fed’s future rate path. In Canada RMPI data for October (-1.5% exp) will be posted (13:30 GMT). In the United States, Initial Jobless Claims (220k expected) and Philadelphia Fed Manufacturing Index for November (6.3 exp) will be posted (13:30 GMT). US Existing Home Sales for October (3.94mln exp) will be released (15:00 GMT).
