The US Dollar fell against the Japanese Yen in Asian trading below 143.00 levels.
The USD/JPY edged lower after volatility early in the session as hopes for a US Japan trade deal and the possibility for more Bank of Japan rate hikes continue to underpin the yen. In Japan au Jibun Bank Services PMI data for April (50.0 last month) will be posted (01:30 GMT+1). In the US, Global Manufacturing PMI (49.0 exp) and Global Services PMI for April (52.8 exp) will be posted (14:45 GMT+1) and New Homes Sales data for March (682k exp) will be released (15:00 GMT+1).
