The US Dollar edged lower against the Turkish Lira during the Asian session, above 34.200 levels.
The pair was slightly lower but the long term uptrend continued in the Asian session. The USD/TRY is not far from an all time high, but traded at a one week high yesterday, as traders look forward to important inflation data. In Turkey CPI Inflation data for September (48.3%) will be posted (08:00 GMT+1). In the United States, Initial Jobless Claims data (221k expected) will be released (13:15 GMT+1). US Global Services PMI for September (55.4 exp) will be posted (14:45) and ISM Non Manufacturing PMI for September (51.6 exp) will be released (15:00).
