The US Dollar inched lower against the Turkish Lira during the Asian session, just below 38.00 levels.
The USD/TRY traded slightly lower as economic and political concerns continued to impact the Lira with Turkey currently challenged by political protests following the arrest of Istanbul’s Mayor. In Turkey, Consumer Confidence data for March (82.1 last month) will be released (07:00 GMT). In the US, Manufacturing PMI for March (52.7 last month) and Services PMI for March (51 last month) will be released (13:45 GMT).
