The US Dollar edged higher against the Turkish Lira during the Asian session above 37.90 levels.
The USD/TRY increased slightly just ahead of the announcement of important inflation figures in Turkey, as political and economic instability continued in the country. In Turkey, CPI Inflation data for March (38.9 expected) will be posted today (08:00 GMT+1). In the US, Initial Jobless Claims data (225k exp) will be posted (13:30 GMT+1), S&P Global Service figures PMI for March (54.3 exp) will be posted (14:45 GMT+1) and ISM Non-Manufacturing PMI for March (53.9 last month) will be released (15:00 GMT+1).
