The US Dollar jumped against the Turkish Lira during the Asian session above 38.00 levels.
The USD/TRY increased sharply to hit a one month high in the Asian session amid mounting concerns about the Turkish economy and its high inflation. In Turkey, Budget Balance data for March (-310.10 bln last month) will be posted (09:00 GMT+1). In the US, New York State Manufacturing Index data for April (-14.80 exp) will be released (13:30 GMT+1).
