TESLA: THE COMPANY

Tesla produces several Electric Vehicles (EV) including the Model 3, Model X, Model Y, Model S and since recently, the Cybertruck. Tesla also delivers the Semi- Truck.
Tesla is still the largest seller of pure battery-powered Electric Vehicles (EVs) in the world and an absolute leader in the US (taking up between 60%- 70% market share).

TESLA: EVENTS AND ANALYSIS

EVENT (THURSDAY, OCTOBER 10): TESLA TO UNVEIL “ROBOTAXI”. Musk has said that Tesla will make a car without controls for a human to use. He has also said in the past that Tesla cars equipped with Full Self-Driving Capability will, through software updates, gradually become better and better at driving.
EVENT (WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 23, AFTERMARKET): Q3 EARNINGS REPORT. According to Bloomberg, Tesla is expected to bring $25.60 billion in revenue, up 9.6% from the same period last year ($23.35 billion). Tesla is expected to print a net income of $2.1 billion, up 13.3% from the same period last year ($1.85 billion).

TESLA: OTHER ANALYSIS

TESLA QUARTERLY GLOBAL CAR DELIVERY (Q3) (OCTOBER 2): 462,890. This is still an increase of 6.4% from the same period last year (435,059) and an increase of 4.3% from the Q2 of 2024 (443,956).
STATISTICS: TESLA STOCK ROSE 6.57% ON AVERAGE IN THE PERIOD BETWEEN QUARTERLY CAR DELIVERY DATE AND QUARTERLY EARNINGS REPORT DATE.

TESLA: OTHER ANALYSIS

FULL- SELF DRIVING SYSTEM (FSD) IN CHINA (APRIL 29): According to Bloomberg, Tesla received in-principal approval from government officials to deploy its driver-assistance in China for the first time ever. Tesla has also reached an agreement with Baidu to use the Chinese giant's mapping license for data collection on China's public roads. After the news, the Tesla stock added around 15% to its value.
OPTIMUS (HUMANOID ROBOT): CEO Elon Musk said that Tesla could be able to sell Optimus by the end of 2024.
TESLA WILL LAUNCH A NEW MODEL IN 2025: The model is expected to be the cheapest Tesla has ever offered and it could cost around $25,000.
TESLA LATEST PRODUCT: CYBERTRUCK. Tesla is expected to deliver 100,000 to 120,000 in 2024 and at least 240,000 in 2025.

TESLA: PRICE ACTION

THE STOCK HAS TRADED AROUND 41% BELOW ITS ALL- TIME HIGH OF $414.4 (November 4, 2021). Tesla was last trading around $244, and if a full recovery follows to recent all- time highs, the stock could see an upside of around 70%. However, the price could decline further.
ANALYSTS OPINIONS: Morgan Stanley forecasts $310. Wedbush forecasts $300. Piper Sandler forecasts $310. Deutsche Bank forecasts $295.
